1-Hour Free Seminar
An introduction to the “Dude! Where’s My Profit?” course with a stimulating overview of the development of the big picture of accounting basics: the Pedersen Matrix™. Also, an application of the Matrix approach to a series of transactions to result in the financial statements, the income statement and balance sheet. The presentation is visual and interactive and parallels the course CD.

3-Hour Workshop
An introduction to the course with a stimulating overview of the topics covered and the approach used to present it. In addition, Dr. Pedersen will provide guidance through the first half of the course. You will learn:
- To construct the big picture of accounting basics; the Pedersen Matrix™.
- To apply the Matrix approach to a series of transactions to result in the financial statements, the income statement and balance sheet.
- To record 9 cycles of transactions of increasing complexity and completing the accounting process by producing the financial statements.
- To visually trace transactions through the system to end up in the financial statements.
- To understand what the financial statements really show to the business owner.
Basic accounting terminology defined with a minimum of jargon.

Upon completing the 3-hour workshop, participants will easily be able to complete the second half of the course on their own by following the Easy Guide.
6-Hour Workshop (2 parts)
First session: This will be the same as the 3-hour workshop above.
Second session: Participants complete a business simulation start up by applying the accounting knowledge learned in the first session. They start and grow a business through 5 cycles of accounting transactions producing financial statements for each cycle. The business simulation is a service company. Its legal form is a corporation.
